<p>9/11/08:Padres 11, Giants 3, with <strong>Josh Geer</strong> collecting his second win in 3 starts.Plus <strong>Adrian Gonzalez</strong> hit two homer and brother <strong>Edger Gonzalez</strong> hit a pitch-hit home run, and <strong>Drew Macias</strong> hit his first of his career. </p>
<p>9/12/08:Giants 5, Padres 2, with <strong>Jake Peavy</strong> collecting his 11th loss of the season,making him 9-11.</p>
<p>9/13/08:Giants 7, Padres 0, shutout by Tim Lincecum making him 17-3 on the year, every well might be the CY Young winner in the NL,despite the Popularity vote that C.C Sabathia will get.</p>
<p>9/14/08:Giants 8, Padres 6, with a platoon of relief pitchers nine total, with Beak starting going only two innings, before being pulled with an injury. <strong>Mike Adams</strong> earned the blown save and <strong>Dirk Hayhurst</strong> getting the loss.</p>
<p>9/15/08:Padres 11, Rockies 5, <strong>Wade LeBlanc</strong>earned is first win of his career, with a win at Coors Field that should give the rookie the confidence he&#8217;ll need going in too next year.</p>
<p>9/16/08:Rockies 10, Padres 3, Estes took his second straight loss in two starts.</p>

<p>The Bullpen followed up like this: <strong>Clay Hensley</strong>, <strong>Cla Meredith</strong> and <strong>Heath Bell</strong> combined to throw up 4 innings of shutout baseball, only allowing 2 hits and one BB. While <strong>Brian Falkenborg </strong>earned the loss by giving up 3 hits one run it was earned and 3 BBs all in 2 and one thirds innings.</p>
<p><strong>Brian Giles</strong> went 4-6 with one RBI and one run scored, <strong>Adrian Gonzalez </strong>went 0-2 with 3 BBs one RBI and one strikeout.</p>

<p><strong>Shawn Estes</strong> went 6 innings allowing 7 hits but only one ER one BB and one SO. The Bullpen followed up great <strong>Heath Bell</strong> and <strong>Trevor Hoffman</strong> combined to throw up 2 scoreless innings with Hoffman getting his 28th save of the season. One bad note from the pen&#8217; <strong>Mike Adams</strong> continues to struggle, he gave up one HR and striked out three.</p>
<p><strong>Luis Rodriguez</strong> went 1-4 with 2 RBI and one SO, <strong>Nick Hundley</strong> went 2-3 with two hit and two RBI and  one run scored.<strong> Will Venable</strong> 2-4 with two hits one being a HR two RBI and one run scored.  </p>

The Bullpen of the Padres fared pretty well as <strong>Clay Hensley</strong>, <strong>Mike Adams</strong>, <strong>Brian Falkenborg</strong>, <strong>Heath Bell</strong> and <strong>Brett Tomko </strong>combined to throw up 4 scoreless innings giving up only one hit 3 BBs and 4 strikeouts.</p>
<p>The hitting was there for the Padres today, <strong>Tadahito Iguchi</strong> went 1-4 with a run scored and two strikeouts, <strong>Nick Hundley</strong> went 2-4 with 2 hits and a run scored, <strong>Chase Headley</strong> went 2-4 with 2 hits and 2 RBIs. <strong>Kevin Kouzmanoff</strong> went 2-4 with 2 hits a run scored 3 RBIs and one strikeout, while <strong>Luis Rodriguez</strong> went 1-5 with a hit and a run scored.</p>
<p><strong>Brian Giles</strong> went 3-5 with 3 hits,one being a two run shot in the 3rd inning his 10th of the season, one run scored and one more RBI making his total 3 for the day, <strong>Jody Gerut</strong> went 1-5 with an RBI. <strong>Adrian Gonzalez </strong>went 1-3 with 3 runs scored one hit and 2 BBs, while brother <strong>Edger Gonzalez</strong> had a pitch hit appearance going 0-1,<strong>Scott Hairston</strong> also had a pitch hit appearance going 1-1 with a BB.</p>

<strong>Josh Banks</strong> lasted three innings giving up 5 hits and one run that was earned one walk and one strikeout. While the bullpen filled the rest of the starting line. <strong>Heath Bell</strong>, <strong>Wilfredo Ledezma</strong> and <strong>Brian Falkenborg</strong>combined to throw up 2 and two thirds scoreless innings giving up only 2 hits 2 BBs and one strikeout. The Bad notes from the pen:<strong>Justin Hampson</strong> and <strong>Mike Adams</strong> combined to throw up 2 and one third innings and giving up 5 hits 6 earned runs one BB,one strikeout and one HR.Adams earned the loss.<br />
The Batting line up went like this: <strong>Brian Giles</strong>went 3-3 with 2 BBs one HR his 9th on the season, <strong>Luis Rodriguez</strong> went 2-5 with two singles, <strong>Jody Gerut</strong> went 1-5 with 2 SO. <strong>Kevin Kouzmanoff</strong> went 2-5 with a run scored, <strong>Chase Headley</strong> went 1-4 with a run scored and 2 SO,<strong> Edger Gonzalez</strong> went 1-4 with a hit an RBI and a run scored, plus a SO, brother <strong>Adrian Gonzalez</strong> went 1-5 with a strikeout.<br />
<strong>Nick Hundley</strong> 1-3 with a hit and a RBI, <strong>Scott Hairston</strong> went 1-1 with a SO, and <strong>Josh Bard</strong> went 1-1 with a hit and a RBI.<br />
Tomorrow&#8217;s game will highlight the Padres ace <strong>Jake Peavy</strong>(8-9) vs. one of three Arizona aces D.Haren(14-5). Game starts at 7:05pm pt/10:05pm et. 4SD/ RADIO: XPRS 1090/105.7 FM , XEMO 860</p>

Reineke looked Sharp; at first he struggled but then he settled in throwing up 5 innings 5 hits 3 runs all earned 3 BBs and 5 strikeouts, all-n-all he was throwing heat and locating with little effort.</p>
<p>The Bullpen followed-up with its shut down self (of lately) with <strong>Mike Adams</strong>,<strong>Clay Hensley</strong>,<strong>Heath Bell </strong>and newly acquired Padre <strong>Brian Falkenborg </strong>combining to throw up 4 shutout innings behind Reineke; only giving up one hit 2 BBs and 8 strikeouts.</p>
<p>The Batting had a tune that sounded like this, <strong>Jody Gerut</strong> went 3-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. <strong>Tadahito Iguchi</strong> went 2-4 with a hit a BB and 2 strikeouts, <strong>Brian Giles</strong> went 2-2 with 3 RBIs one hit one run scored and a sac-fly making 4 RBIs. <strong>Adrian Gonzalez</strong>went 2-2 with 2 BBs, <strong>Kevin Kouzmanoff</strong> went 2-4 with an RBI, <strong>Chase Headley</strong> went 2-3 with one hit one walk and 2 runs scored.</p>
<p>Reineke helped himself to 1-2 with RBI hit and a run scored, and a strikeout, also <strong>Edger Gonzalez</strong> had a walk with a run scored on a pitch-hit appearance.</p>
<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s game will be national ey televised on ESPN at 5:05pm pt/8:05pm et with the Padres sending to the mound <strong>Cha Seung Beak</strong>(4-7) vs. San Diego&#8217;s hometown boy Cole Hamels(9-8).</p>

<p>The Bullpen as well keeping up it&#8217;s lately standard with <strong>Heath Bell</strong> and <strong>Trevor Hoffman</strong> combining to throw up 2 innings with 2 hits one HR it was Hoffman&#8217;s and he got his 26th save of the season.</p>
<p><strong>Jody Gerut</strong> had a hit and an RBI and two strikeout, <strong>Luis Rodriguez</strong> went 1-4 went a hit.<strong>Kevin Kouzmanoff</strong> went 2-4 with a run scored, <strong>Chase Headley</strong> went 2-3 with 2 hits a run scored and a BB. <strong>Tadahito Iguchi</strong> went 1-3 with and RBI and a run scored also had a strikeout, <strong>Brian Myrow</strong> had a sac-fly RBI.</p>
<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s (which i will be attending) will feature my favorite pitcher to watch pitch, </p>
