The staggering San Diego Padres scratched ace Mat Latos from Monday night's start against rival Los Angeles due to stomach flu. Latos said he lobbied manager Bud Black, but the skipper was concerned that the right-hander was dehydrated and weakened by the illness. Latos said he's feeling better and that'll he'll likely start Tuesday night.
