The San Diego Padres lost Tuesday night to the San Francisco Giants in 11 innings.  Bengie Molina hit a game winning homerun off of Cla Meredith in the 11th inning as the Giants beat the Padres 3-2.  It was Molina’s second homerun of the game.

Padres starting pitcher Randy Wolf didn’t pitch too badly.  Wolf pitched six innings and gave up five hits and two earned runs.  Joe Thatcher and Heath Bell both pitched two innings without allowing a run.  Merideth was the one out of the bullpen to give up the one run, that cost them the ballgame.

The Padres didn’t have much offense on Tuesday night as well.  Khalil Green hit a into a fielder choice in the 6th inning that scored Adrian Gonzalez and Brian Giles hit a sac fly in the ninth inning that scored Colt Morton that tied the game to send it into extra innings.
