As most watched the only baseball on, The State Farm Homerun Derby where Josh Hamilton (Texas) put on a show for times as he sent Yankee Stadium/Polo Grounds for a ride of its life with its first and only homerun derby. With bombs that averaged 475-480ft in the first round with the longest being 518ft.

Also breaking the record for most HR hits in the first round and second most HR hit in a derby, also in the first round(28HR),but then was out slugged by Justin morneau in the end(5-3).

But it didn’t even matter J.Hamilton was the real story; he should be an inspiration for every person in the world about never giving up or giving in. No matter what you are up against. It was also a class act has he invited his 71 year old Claybon Counsil, a pitching coach/BP hurler from this Indi. league in North Carolina to throw to him, which am sure, it was the biggest stage he has ever performed on.

All-in-All Josh Hamilton showed up to the house that Ruth Built and a story that would make Babe Ruth double take, cry and then cheer and he helped see Yankee stadium off in a big historical way, just the touch it needed for one and only homerun derby.
