Being a St. Louis Cardinals fan all my life gets me excited about Opening Day. This article is a lead up to the big day itself. I will provide logistic ideas for Opening Day in St. Louis. Opening Day is March 31, with game time being 3:15 p.m. CST. The San Diego Padres will visit 700 Clark Street, for the first game of the season. Parking You have several choices. You can park free and ride the Metrolink rail or the Redbird Bus Express. Parking at either of these is free.

San Diego Padres general manager Jed Hoyer says ace Mat Latos will begin the season on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right shoulder. Hoyer said Monday that the move would be backdated to March 22, meaning Latos would be eligible to come off the DL on April 6. The Padres are scheduled to host the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants that day.
