The San Diego Padres recalled rookie outfielder Luis Durango from Triple-A Portland on Tuesday. Durango replaces right-handed pitcher Luis Perdomo, who was optioned back to Portland following Sunday's game at Seattle. Perdomo was with the Padres just one day following his recall from Portland. Durango hit .545 with six hits in 11 at-bats in September for San Diego.

San Diego made the moves Saturday before the second game of a weekend interleague series in Seattle. Perdomo made his major league debut last season with the Padres.
